"Supporting Press Freedom in Winter Garden"
Press freedom and the First Amendment are under attack in the City of Winter Garden. In February, the city passed a resolution that prohibits journalists from asking questions during city meetings or following elected officials to question them before or afterward. The city has even threatened to ban VoxPopuli if we continue asking officials questions in meetings. The Orlando Sentinel reported that this resolution specifically targeted VoxPopuli. Numerous civil rights and media organizations, including the First Amendment Foundation, have called the resolution "unconstitutional." But the city has yet to repeal it. That's why we created a bunch of these SUPPORTING PRESS FREEDOM IN WINTER GARDEN stickers — and we're giving them away FREE, while supplies last. Fill out this form to get yours and display it somewhere people will see it. Then please consider donating to our nonprofit newsroom to keep VoxPopuli going strong. (Donations are tax-deductible).
