Nearly three-quarters of Floridians whose mail-in ballots for the Nov. 3 general election were initially flagged for some problem — such as mismatched or missing signatures — were able to correct or “cure” their ballots in time so they could be counted, a new study found. However, it also found that the majority of vote-by-mail ballots flagged for rejection were cast by younger, Black, Hispanic and first-time voters.

Nearly all voters who voted early in the March 9 municipal elections, chose to vote by mail.

Hargreaves, who owns a security business, highlighted traffic as a top issue as well as maintaining the dirt roads and quaintness of Windermere as did the other candidates. He also wanted to look into alleged voting irregularities.

Seeking reelection, Martini said he has no personal agenda except to represent Windermere residents.

Richardson — who said he’s in the race because he wants to give back to Ocoee, which “has been very good to me” — cited road infrastructure and firefighter retention as major issues for the city.
