Daralene Jones
Reporter and Anchor, WFTV
Jones is an Emmy award-winning investigative reporter and anchor who focuses on in-depth data-driven journalism and storytelling for WFTV Channel 9. She is the executive producer of Groveland Four: Journey to Exoneration and the Ocoee Massacre project, a comprehensive television documentary with a companion website and podcast, detailing what sparked the killings of Blacks and destruction of their property on election day, November 2, 1920, in Ocoee.
George Oliver III
Ocoee City Commissioner
As the first Black city commissioner, Oliver worked to develop the Ocoee Massacre Proclamation, erect directional signs to the African American Hallowed Ground Cemetery and implement diversity and inclusion training for city employees. He established the city’s first youth council as well as a program for returning citizens to receive job training and employment. A U.S. Navy veteran and a service officer for the American Legion, Oliver is also a deacon and church leader at New Covenant Baptist Church of Orlando.
Tiffany Hughes

The former president of the Orange County NAACP, and the youngest to be elected in its history, Hughes runs the Orlando-based employment firm KBI Staffing Solutions, serves as a mentor for Take Stock in Children and the Orlando Business Journal’s Bizwoman Mentoring Monday and as a steward in the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville. In 2021, she was named an Orlando Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree.

Burney-Clark, is a civic engagement professional who has dedicated her personal and professional career to social and electoral justice across the state of Florida. She’s the Founder of Equal Ground Education Fund and Action Fund, a Black-led community centered civic engagement organization prioritizing voter registration, education and turnout.
